Pace Foundry Press was born from a simple belief: stories are worth more than price tags. Too often, authors are told by vanity presses that they must pay thousands of dollars to see their words in print. We reject that. Hybrid Publishing should be accessible, fair, and rooted in respect for the author’s vision.

The name Pace Foundry Press carries a legacy. It traces back to Richard Pace in the 1700s, and through generations of Pace family members who worked as blacksmiths. They shaped iron with fire, patience, and skill — creating tools, art, and structures meant to last. That spirit of craft and endurance lives on in this press. Just as blacksmiths forged iron into something enduring, we forge manuscripts into books built to outlast trends and leave a mark on history.

For me, founding this press is about keeping both a family name and a tradition alive. The blacksmith’s forge has transformed into the writer’s forge. A place where raw creativity is shaped, strengthened, and made ready for the world.

But there’s another reason I started this press. As a teen author myself, I know how hard it is to break into publishing. I spent years writing, facing rejection, and searching for affordable ways to get my words into the world. I’ve put in over 500 hours of research and development and built up a lifetime of writing experience. While my own publishing journey is fairly new, I’ve learned how to do it well, and I want to share that knowledge.

Pace Foundry Press isn’t just for established authors. It’s for teen writers who want to publish their work in the best way possible, without being taken advantage of. I built this press to give young writers the chance I wished I had: a place where their voices are respected, their stories are nurtured, and their books are given the professional treatment they deserve without being taken advantage of and exploited for their drive.
